Volleyball National Championships. They headed to Camosun College to play for the CCAA
National Championship and they performed far above expectations. The Pilots won their first
game at a CCAA National Championship which is also a first in MCAC Men’s Volleyball

An incredible season for the 2023-24 Pilots Women’s Basketball team saw them dethrone the
Canadian Mennonite University Blazers dynasty in both MCAC and NIAC competition.
Rightfully so, multiple Pilots finished the season well-decorated with many accomplishments
and achievements. Additionally, the second-year of system basketball run by Head Coach Joel
Coursey proved incredibly successful as he was named Coach of the Year in the MCAC, NIAC,
and the NCCAA. While the Pilots were the runner-ups in the ACCA National Championship, the
team reached incredible heights and the development of its top players only show that there are
big things in store for the 2024-25 season.

While the Pilots fell short in the NIAC and MCAC finals, the team showed that they are bound
for great things in the 2024-25 season. The 2023-24 season can be bookmarked as a development
season as new players came in and provided depth for the team. The Pilots Men’s Basketball
squad will look to recapture their MCAC Championship in the coming year.

An outstanding season for the Pilots Women’s Soccer Team was marked by strong defensive
play and an offensive outburst all around the field. The team is destined for success in the 2024
outdoor soccer season as they look to get back in the mix for the NCCAA National
Championship.

- Third Year Midfielder Johannes Barnes took home the Oustanding Team Leader award.
- Third Year Goalkeeper Blake Harder took home the Most Improved Player award.

The Pilots Mens Soccer team saw changes, but they adapted to the changes quite nicely. Former

the team. With MCAC and NCCAA Coach of the Year honors, there are certainly big things
ahead for the Pilots Men’s Soccer team as they prepare for the 2024 outdoor season.
Congratulations to everyone who participated in Pilots Athletics in the 2023-24 season. A strong
year bookmarks many successes and achievements. This banquet perfectly encapsulates the
many strong student-athletes that walk the halls of Providence University College. The hard
work and dedication that it takes to succeed at any level of athletics was successfully showcased
in this banquet. Onto bigger and better things in anticipation of the 2024-25 season…
