(PLYMOUTH, MN) - The Providence University College Pilots found themselves in the 2024 NIAC Final on Sunday, February 25th against the defending champions, the Trinity Bible College Lions. The path to the NIAC final wasn’t easy, but it certainly gave hope to the Pilots who experienced turbulence to finish their 2023-24 season.

The Pilots found themselves in quarterfinals action on Friday, February 23rd against the Sisseton Wahpeton College Mustangs. The battle against the Mustangs was close until the Pilots pulled away in the second half to win 88-58. Building off this victory, the Pilots gave the Minnesota crowd a taste of the MCAC rivalry and  the likely 2024 MCAC championship final. The Canadian Mennonite University Blazers tipped off against the Pilots on Saturday, February 24th in a spirited semifinal battle. The Pilots found
themselves completing the path to the championship game with a 66-62 win over the Blazers. Trinity put a stop to the Pilots triumphant run with a 98-68 win to defend their title. The Pilots will regroup as they look to defend their MCAC banner at the University of St. Boniface.
